Q: What is the pole made from?
A: Our pole is crafted from coconut coir—natural fibers derived from the husk of coconuts. This material is a renewable, sustainable by-product of the coconut industry and is completely biodegradable. Coconut coir poles provide a strong and sturdy structure for plants to grow on, making them an eco-friendly alternative to traditional moss poles.
Q: How do I use the pole?
A: Simply insert the base of the pole into your plant’s soil. Then, gently bend the pole into the desired shape to support your climbing plant. The fibrous texture of the coir encourages aerial roots to grip, mimicking the natural support structures like tree trunks that these plants would use in the wild.
Q: Can I make it taller as my plant grows?
A: Yes! Our coir poles are modular. You can easily screw additional poles together to create a custom height that suits your plant’s needs. This feature allows the support to grow alongside your plant, providing continuous support throughout its development.
Q: Is it safe for all houseplants?
A: Absolutely. The materials used are all-natural and free from harmful chemicals, making the pole safe for most indoor climbing plants such as Monstera, Pothos, and Philodendrons. The natural composition ensures that your plants are supported without exposure to synthetic substances.
Q: How long will the pole last?
A: With proper indoor use, your coconut coir grow pole can last for years. The durability and flexibility of the coir fibers make it a reliable support structure that can withstand the indoor environment while supporting your plants through every stage of growth.
Q: Is this better than a moss pole?
A: Yes! Coconut coir is more sustainable, cleaner to handle, and longer-lasting than sphagnum moss. Unlike peat-based moss poles, coir poles do not contribute to peatland depletion, making them a more environmentally friendly choice. Additionally, coir poles are easier to maintain and less messy, providing a cleaner alternative for indoor gardening.

I don't see a way to connect the 2 without some kind of connector ****. I bought mine at cost plus world market.
Hi Meg,
Thanks so much for your review
The Coco Climber poles are designed to stack together by unscrewing the pointed stake piece at the bottom first 😊 Once removed, the threaded top of the next pole can be twisted securely into place to extend the height.
We really appreciate you flagging this, as we can absolutely see how the assembly could feel a little unclear at first. If you need any further help with setup, feel free to reach out to us directly and we’d be happy to help
These poles are easy enough to bend by hand but also strong enough to hold my heavy mature monstera in place. They **** together to build the height you need.

these poles are great for climbing plants if you do not want the care requirements of moss poles. It’s easy to extend as well and more stable than other extendable poles on the market.
This pole is easy to use and I love that I can continue to add on as the plant grows.
