Anti-Gnat Concentrate
- Shake well — activate the natural plant oils before use.
- Mix with water — add 5 teaspoons per quart of water (enough for 2–3 medium pots).
- Drench the soil — pour slowly around the base, saturating fully so it reaches the root zone.
- For hydroponics — soak roots for 5–10 minutes, or pour through and flush after 10–15 minutes.
- Reapply — every 2–3 days for active infestations; every 7–14 days for ongoing prevention.
Compostable Gnat Traps
- Prep your pot — wipe the inside rim clean of dirt and debris.
- Place your trap — peel and stick 1 strip (or 2 for a bad infestation) to the inside rim, or use the included stake to place directly in the soil.
- Activate — remove the protective layer from the top of the strip.
- Replace — once a month, or sooner if needed.
Protect Spray with Neem
- Shake well — ensure your plant is well watered and out of direct sunlight.
- Spray — coat the top and underside of all leaves and stems.
- Rest — leave in a well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight for 24 hours.
- Repeat — fortnightly, or more frequently for an active issue.
What's the deal with shipping?
Our processing time is 2–3 days and shipping is 3–5 days. Orders over $60 ship free. Everything else ships $7 flat rate.
What does the concentrate target?
It works in the soil to target fungus gnat larvae at the root zone, helping dry them out and breaking down the fungus and organic matter they feed on, disrupting the lifecycle at the source.
What do the traps catch?
Fungus gnats, whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and more — basically anything with wings.
Is the concentrate safe for all indoor plants?
Yes. The gentle, plant-based formula is designed for indoor use and won't burn or damage plants when mixed correctly.
What plants can I use the traps on?
Anything in a pot. If you'd rather not stick to the rim, the included stake lets you place it in the soil instead.
How do I store the traps?
The FREE tin keeps strips fresh and sticky between uses — just pop them back in after each use.
What plants can I use the Protect Spray on?
Use on all non-furry leaved houseplants, potted herbs, and ornamental plants. We recommend spot checking on a small leaf if you have any concerns, and always use as directed.
Can I use Protect Spray all year?
Yes — Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Avoid using if your plant is in heat stress or in direct sunlight.
How often do I apply the concentrate?
Every 2–3 days for active infestations; every 7–14 days for maintenance and prevention.
